St Patrick's Intensive Outpatient Program is a day treatment program for adults who are experiencing emotional and/or behavioral difficulties. All services are provided by a team of experienced and highly skilled health professionals under the ongoing direction and supervision of a Certified Psychiatrist. Individualized treatment plans outline diagnoses as well as goals for patient recovery and stabilization.
Often, participation in an outpatient program can help avoid frequent hospitalizations or reduce a patient’s length of stay in the hospital through ongoing monitoring and management of mental health care. Intensive outpatient can be a critical option for a continuum of care beyond the hospital.
* All services are provided in a comfortable, relaxed, and friendly atmosphere in the specially designed treatment areas conducive to individual and group therapies.
*The comprehensive assessment identifying patient need defines the frequency and duration of care in the outpatient setting. Typically a patient will begin services at a more intensive level, coming 3-4 days per week, reducing attendance over time as improvement continues. While attending the day treatment program, the patient will participate in both individual and group therapy sessions.
* A Physician's Referral is not required for access to services. Referrals are accepted from Physicians, Health Professionals, Family Members, and patients themselves
